Research

Mark Hamblin
Mark is a regular contributor to British leading wildlife and photographic magazines , he has released many books which mainly included wildlife photos. He has traveled to many parts of the world, when he was younger he developed a interest in bird watching and photography, these interests influenced his work.

I like his work because of the way he uses elements in the landscape to frame the location. You can also see how he uses mutual colours which can be easily found in the places he photographs. He mainly uses yellows and oranges as the two most shown on the images, these are two of the many colours people associate with these type of landscapes. The techniques he uses , such as using the landscape format and the use of rule of thirds, these are want I want to apply to my images. His history in photography is the main key into why his images are photogenic.

John shaw
He started photography from the 1970's at a very young age and by the 1997 he received his first outstanding photographer award, Publishing many photographic books with his images he has taken on every continent. In 2002 Nikon picked John as one of their legends behind the lens.

As from what I can see John doesn't rely that much on colour he composes the images ,this is the key element in his images.  After all his work it's obvious he uses a Nikon as the quality is well shown thought his work.   Another user of the rule of thirds this technique is best used in nature and when living creatures are included. Instead of colours like oranges he mainly uses greens which is more commonly found in nature. The way he frames the images is very creative and to me makes the images more appealing.

Ross Hoddinott
Ross developed a passion and fascination for the natural world. He is among the UK top leading photographers and when he was younger he won the BBC country file junior photographer of the year. He has contributed to many national magazines.

Ross used the techniques and elements previously used by other photographers, he also uses a range of colours to make his photos interesting.
